Celebrating 21 Years
"To be of Service is our beginning-a Better Community is our Ending"
MISSION
National Council of Negro Women's mission is to lead, advocate for and empower women of African descent, their families and communities.
At the National Council of Negro Women we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.
We welcome stay-at-home moms, working class women, college students, retired women, and any other women that would like to join. Also if you have a spouse that would like to support us as an associate member we invite him to join as well.
There are many ways for members to be involved and as a member you are not obligated to attend every meeting or event. Some ways members can be involved are:
-
share information with friends and family
-
participate in events
-
provide input and ideas
-
donate items
Please consider sharing the great work we do for the community with friends and family members that might be interested in joining us!
"Progress comes from caring more about what needs to be done than about who gets the credit."
